1. Novel Technologies for Prevention, Detection, Assessment and Management of Animal Health and Welfare
For this call we are interested in co-developing project ideas including biotechnological approaches. We have experience in animal pathogens, microbial production and characterization of antibiotics, vaccine components, and other bioactives and have worked with both livestock and aquaculture industries on topics of animal health and food safety. We have state-of-the-art facilities for microbial fermentation, biomass processing, high-throughput screening, and characterization. Our department further has extensive experience with leading and collaborating in co-funded ERAnets and partnerships, and larger EU projects, and can contribute to partner recruitment, proposal writing, and project management.
