1. Novel Technologies for Prevention, Detection, Assessment and Management of Animal Health and Welfare
We have experience in development of microfluidic or Lab on a Chip devices for diagnostic applications (e.g. species identification, detection of bacterial infections). These devices are rapid, cost-effective and can be used outside the laboratory.
Our university is set up to be able to deliver design, manufacture and testing of microfluidic device, primarily focussed molecular tools, on as a potential solution for enhancing animal health and welfare.
