The Analytical and Electroanalytical Chemistry Lab at the University of Udine develops electrochemical sensors and biosensors for environmental, food, animal-health and biomedical applications.
Our expertise includes screen-printed electrodes, aptamer- and enzyme-based biosensors, paper-based platforms, portable sensing devices and deep eutectic solvents for sustainable sample preparation and analysis.
We are interested in joining EUPAHW consortia focused on animal-health diagnostics, welfare biomarkers, pathogen surveillance, antimicrobial resistance, One Health and point-of-need monitoring. We can contribute to biosensor development, electrochemical characterisation, analytical validation and testing in complex or real samples.
