1. Animal Welfare
The Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE) offers its participation as a partner in consortia applying to the EUPAHW call. FVE represents 38 European countries and more than 300,000 veterinarians across Europe.
FVE has extensive experience in EU-funded and international projects and provides strong expertise in animal health, animal welfare, public health, food safety, sustainable livelihoods, disease prevention and control, and biosecurity. In addition, FVE has significant experience in communication and dissemination activities and a strong capacity to mobilise its large European veterinary network to maximise project impact.
FVE is currently seeking to join a consortium as a partner and is ready to contribute both technical expertise and broad stakeholder engagement.
We are the umbrella body for veterinary associations from 38 European Countries (43 members and 1 observer). We represent , through our Sections, veterinarians working in different fields of the profession, such as veterinary practitioners (UEVP), state officers (EASVO), food safety and veterinary public health (UEVH) and veterinarians working in education, research and industry (EVERI).
The European veterinary profession, represented by FVE, is a science-led healthcare profession of over 330,000 veterinarians. We champion animal health and welfare, public health, safe food, and sustainable livelihoods.
As One Health–One Welfare leaders, veterinarians protect animals, people, and the environment for a healthier tomorrow.
