We are particularly interested in collaborative projects focusing on microbiome- and genetics-driven approaches to improve animal health, welfare, and sustainability.
Our interests include (but are not limited to):
• Host–microbiome interactions affecting animal health and welfare
• Gut, skin, oral, and environmental microbiomes
• Genetic and genomic markers linked to disease resistance, resilience, and welfare traits
• Metagenomics and functional microbiome profiling
• Longitudinal and intervention-based animal studies
• One Health approaches linking animal, environmental, and microbial data
We provide end-to-end support, including experimental design, DNA/RNA extraction, library preparation, high-throughput sequencing (amplicon, WGS, metagenomics, transcriptomics etc), and advanced bioinformatic and statistical analysis.
We have extensive experience collaborating with European universities, research institutes, government bodies, and international organisations on animal health, ecology, and applied genomics projects. Our infrastructure supports high-volume, high-quality data generation, with a strong emphasis on reproducibility, regulatory awareness, and translational impact.
